Last year, I made a foldable kid size garden chair, out of construction lumber. Although it looked pretty nice, due to the softness of the spruce, the leg locking mechanism has already started to splinter and wear. Back then I promised myself I’d make another one, so this year I made one from oak, and using proper techniques like template routing instead of doing everything freehand.
