Inspired by Steve Ramsey (woodworking for mere mortals), I decided to build a small serving tray for collecting all the cruft we keep on our dining table. I used alder for the sides and 4mm B-grade pine plywood for the bottom. The main challenge in this project was to properly cut out the handle with the same 20-degree angle as the side. For this I used a 10mm router bit together with a small jig on my router table, and the result came out pretty well
