A friend of mine had a couple of off-cuts from some shelves that was just laying around. Since I’ve just been building some stools from the Dania series of furniture, I knew about a storage box in the same series that could be a good project to build from the off-cuts.
I decided to make the handles in the same shape as the stools, and not necessarily a 1:1 copy from the original. For this project, I also tried a new finish from Hozon that caught my attention recently: their 2C natural wood oil, which contains a tiny bit of white pigments to make the wood appear less yellow/amber.
